Vinyasa
I’ve been doing yoga since I was 13, when it was just me and the grannies in the creche of my local sports centre. Since graduating the creche, I’ve trained and worked as an actor and movement professional, but my yoga teaching journey was catalysed in the pandemic, when the theatres shut down overnight. Having a yoga practice gave me comfort and purpose amid the chaos, and I wanted to pass that gift on to others.
Now 250-hour qualified, I’ve taught regular classes for studios including Gymbox, One LDN, PureGym, The Sauna Social Club, The Bow Bungalow and Rise, and filmed online content for Indaba Online. I’m also the faculty yoga teacher for BA and MA performing arts students at Associated Studios drama school, where I love sharing my knowledge of mindful movement and the positive impacts it can have on an actor's wellbeing and creative practice.
I teach mainly in the vinyasa and hatha disciplines. My classes include breathwork and meditation, and fun, creative sequencing always with a mind to prepping the body and soul for what is to come, both on and off the mat. Expect to giggle, expect lots of hands-on adjustments (for those that want it!), and expect to dive deep into yourself. All bodies and all levels of experience are welcome, as is any experience you have on the mat. For me, yoga is a space to heal and reflect, to feel into your body and your internal landscape and leave feeling more connected, grounded and in touch with your intuitive self.
