Ochre found yoga in 2016, coming from a background in choreography, she valued the freedom yoga offered, allowing her to move and connect with her body without being constrained by its limitations.
In 2018, Ochre completed her 200-hour Hatha Yoga teacher training with the East + West Institute in Bali, studying under Deep Kumar and Gurumukh Singh. She has since expanded her expertise with specialized trainings in Yoga for Emotional Trauma and Eating Disorders with Lisa Kaley-Isley, Yin Yoga with Murielle Burellier and Sebastian Pucelle, Kids Yoga through TriYoga, and Pregnancy Yoga with Nadia Raffat. Additionally, she is currently pursuing her Pilates Teacher Training at the London Pilates Academy.
Today, Ochre's classes are a balanced mix of strength and release, incorporating her background in choreography. She emphasises pairing familiar movements with unexpected, creative sequences, encouraging students to explore and expand their practice. Her guidance centres on breath-focused, embodied movement, helping her students find balance both on and off the mat.
